The 2016 YNOT Grand Prix will be incorporating a new RANKING system.
A point tally will be kept on the industry’s best drivers at all four races, with a grand prize of $1000 to be offered to the highest ranked driver of 2016.
The point system for each race is as follows: 1st place = 10 pts., 2nd place = 8 pts., 3rd place = 6 pts. 4th thru 6th place = 4 pts. each, 7th place thru remaining death match field = 3 pts. each.
The participant with the highest cumulative point total for the year wins the cash prize after the final race at TES Prague in September 2016.
The more races you participate and place in, the better your chances of winning. In the event of a tie breaker, number of events competed in, total number of top 3 finishes, and margin of advantage of best lap time will all be taken into consideration to determine the winner if necessary.
